Matt Garrett
Matt serves as a Director with Fifth Third’s Financial Sponsors Group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”). Dedicated to building lasting relationships with private equity firms, Matt brings over ten years of sponsor coverage experience and ensures seamless delivery and execution of Fifth Third’s investment banking, capital markets, leveraged finance and other commercial banking capabilities to his sponsor clients and their portfolio companies.
Matt joined Fifth Third in 2015. Previously, he spent four years within the Healthcare Sponsor Coverage group at Regions Bank.
Matt graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance. He received his license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds FINRA series 79 and 63 licenses.
