Ken Rivera

Ken is a Managing Director with Fifth Third’s Investment Banking group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”), and has over 30 years of technology, media & entertainment, and industrial tech investment banking experience. He also has over ten years of operating experience in the entertainment industry, combined with venture and board level activities. Ken has advised both public and private companies in a variety of transactions across M&A, IPOs, equity and debt financings, strategic partnerships, and commercial relationships. Ken joined FTS from Société Générale where he led M&A in the Americas and was a member of both the U.S. M&A and Equity Commitment Committees. He began his investment banking career in 1987 at Morgan Stanley as part of the firm’s original West Coast Technology Group, led by Frank Quattrone. He later helped launch UBS’ Global Technology Group in San Francisco and Cowen & Company’s original technology investment banking franchise. Ken operating experience includes leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment, Townsquare Media, and Whiskey Road Artists. Ken previously served on the Board of Directors of Hesson Labs, a privately held communications semiconductor company and participated on an advisory council of the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Stanford University.
