John Shoffner
John is a Managing Director with Fifth Third’s Investment Banking group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”), covering the building products sector and is a founding member of Fifth Third’s Investment Banking group. He has over 30 years of investment banking experience advising primarily on the sale of family and private equity owned middle market companies across both the manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors.
Prior to joining FTS, John spent 25 years at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and SunTrust Bank in various investment banking, capital markets and corporate banking roles, including the start-up in 1995 and leadership of STRH’s Corporate Finance Advisory Group.
John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia State University.
