Victoria Poindexter
Victoria is a Managing Director with Fifth Third’s Healthcare Investment Banking group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”), and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare investment banking. Victoria has provided a broad spectrum of strategic, capital markets, and merger and acquisition advisory services to support the strategic and financial goals of independent hospitals, integrated health systems, specialty providers, senior living companies and managed care organizations across the U.S.
Victoria joined Fifth Third Bank in 2021 with its acquisition of Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC, of which she was a founding member, and its subsidiary H2C Securities Inc. (“H2C”). Prior to H2C, she spent 15 years with Shattuck Hammond Partners, becoming an equity partner in 2001 and serving on the management committee. Victoria began her investment banking career in the Investment Banking Division of PaineWebber Incorporated and, subsequently as a member of the Public Finance Health Care Group, completed financing transactions for not-for-profit hospitals and health systems and led the Group’s mergers and acquisitions practice.
Victoria received her Master of Business Administration (with distinction) and Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) from New York University, Stern School of Business. A former ballet dancer, she continues to support dance as a member of the Women’s Board of The Joffrey Ballet. She is a frequent speaker to healthcare industry groups on topics such as capital markets and mergers and acquisitions and has been an active member of The Healthcare Roundtable for CFOs since 2000. Victoria holds general and state securities licenses Series 7, 50, 79, 63 and principal licenses Series 24 and 53.
