Chaz Bauer

Chaz is a Director with Fifth Third’s Healthcare Investment Banking group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”). He brings over 12 years of M&A experience across different investment banking, private equity, and corporate development platforms. Much of his career has been spent working in the healthcare industry where he has deep experience working with health systems, post-acute providers, multi-site providers, and other healthcare industry players. Chaz is currently focused on advising founders, investment firms, and healthcare organizations on transactions across the healthcare services landscape with a particular focus on post-acute and in-home care. Prior to joining Fifth Third in 2022 as a member of H2C Securities Inc., a healthcare-focused M&A and strategic advisory firm acquired by Fifth Third Bank in 2020, Chaz led corporate development at Beaumont Health, where he was responsible for system-wide mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives. His prior experience includes roles at Surgical Care Affiliates, H.I.G. Capital, and Houlihan Lokey. Chaz received his Master of Business Administration (with honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his Bachelor of Arts in Finance (with honors) from Michigan State University.
