Charlie Hurt

Charlie is a Managing Director with Fifth Third’s Consumer Investment Banking group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”), leading the Consumer team’s efforts in franchising and has deep subsector expertise in restaurants, fitness, consumer services and car wash, among other multi-unit concepts. Charlie has executed a variety of sell-side and buy-side M&A, strategic advisory and private and public capital markets transactions over the course of his 25+ year career. Prior to joining FTS in 2013, Charlie spent four years with Cary Street Partners, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Consumer & Retail. Charlie started his investment banking career with The Robinson-Humphrey Company, subsequently SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Prior to attending graduate school, Charlie worked as a Methods Analyst (industrial engineer) for Delta Airlines and was one of the first ten employees at ValuJet Airlines. Charlie received a B.A. in Politics and Economics from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma.
