Bill Watts

Bill is a Managing Director with Fifth Third’s Healthcare Investment Banking group, a part of Fifth Third Securities, Inc. (“FTS”). He is a senior leader of the Healthcare Services practice with sector specialization in healthcare technology. Bill has extensive experience working with software and tech-enabled healthcare technology companies that are transforming how and where healthcare is delivered. He has deep investment banking advisory experience specializing in M&A and capital raise transactions. Bill has represented healthcare tech clients across various verticals, including provider tech, payer tech, consumerism, and pharma/life sciences tools. Prior to joining Fifth Third as a member of H2C Securities Inc., a healthcare-focused M&A and strategic advisory firm acquired by the Bank in 2020, Bill worked with Citi Healthcare Investment Banking group in New York where he provided M&A advisory services for clients within healthcare IT, med tech, pharma providers, and distributors. He also served as an Army intelligence officer assigned to the 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. During his time in the military, Bill served in two combat tours to Iraq. Bill received his JD/MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Point.
